Hyaluronate Sodium is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, a non-sulphated acid mucopolysaccharide or glucosaminoglycan of high molecular weight composed of equimolar amounts of D-glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine linked together by glycosidic bonds.
