Dear Allison:

I want to thank you for your alertness and your immediate response to my telephone call last week concerning this order. Thanks to you, my wonderful, retired service dog “SSD Spirit” received his Anipryl just in time. I cannot tell you what this meant to me. This drug has had an amazing impact on Spirit and I doubt we could manage without it. I was terrified of the consequences of a symptom rebound should his dosage have been interrupted.

During the past 12 years, Spirit has worked faithfully to help me maintain my independence. He has been my rescuer and guide. Throughout months of hospitalizations, he stayed by side, alerting the nurses when I couldn’t ring the bell and helping to keep my temperature stable by warming me with his body heat and cooling me with his licking. There are many times when I have returned to consciousness in the local Emergency Room, to the sound of the nurses saying “Don’t move her… Wait for Spirit!” … and he never let us down, he always knew when I could be moved without triggering another faint. He well-earned the nickname they gave him …“Dr Dog.”

Now, he is the one needing help and I am so very grateful that there is a drug out there that can help him. The vet told me that it would not extend his life-span but it would improve his quality of life… which is the only thing that interests me at this time. Thanks to this drug, he can still struggle up the stairs to our apartment and can still take great pride in “walking nicely” for a few feet to fetch his beloved Frisbee. He even still tries to work now and then. Unfortunately, Anipryl is terribly expensive and I am on a disability income. I do not think I could have afforded the price quoted by my vet. However, the ProKennel price has enabled me to cut enough corners to buy it for him.

So Allison thank you for making sure his order came on time and thanks to ProKennel for giving me an alternative price. Sometimes it is a detail like one of these small ones at your end, that can make a huge difference at mine.

Because of this, I wish you and your colleagues a wonderful day … and if there comes a time when you are feeling a little down, I hope you will think of Spirit and me as we continue through this final stage of our partnership with love and joy. I also hope you will remember the part you unknowingly played in our lives by doing your job so well.
